I am having trouble getting a WIN 2000 client to connect using remote desktop connection to my office XP computer. (The VPN connection works fine.) The error message is: "Remote desktop disconnected: The specifiied remote computer could not be found. Verify that you have typed the correct computer name or IP address, and then try connecting again". I have sucessfully obtained the connection with my other home computer that has an XP operating system. I did download the remote desktop update for WIN 2000 and was then able to see the remote desktop connection log on, but apparently there is more to it.
